True Love Is...

I just recently had an epiphany of what true love really is, true love is not butterflies or that googly feeling that you get when you look at an old classic romantic movie,nor is it when your significant other wears that cologne or perfume that you love so much that gives you this overwhelming feeling. True love is simply endurance,security,and longevity,its when your mate looks at you on your very worst day and still see beauty, its when your down and out and you look over and your love is still right there standing tall to carry you through it all, its when everyone walks away but yet somehow your love still chooses to walk to you no matter your mistakes. True love to me is simply him and me in the full manifestation of what God has called us to be!

Identity Crisis?...

Often times we as women go through identity crisis simply because we don't know who we are in Christ,  now don't you think that it is  quite fitting that crisis sounds like Christ but it really is the absence thereof! Knowing your identity  or purpose is more important than you could ever imagine!  You see when you don't know who you are or have the self worth that you need, then that often times this creates an invisible world in your mind, and the occupants that live there are jealousy, envy,  fear, and last but not least inadequacy. We as women can't celebrate each other in our own uniqueness bc of the simple fact.. we just down right get JEALOUS! and this dose not happen right away its a suddel thing between us...it just happens overtime, and this aweful spirit is not just between friends it has no repector of persons or gender it even happens quietly between mothers and daughters as well as sisters. We can't get the help that we need from each other bc we are so busy looking at what this chic has on or what bag shes carring or what shoes shes wearing, we even go as far as to want to know how fine her man is if we hadn't already checked him out and wondered "why isn't he with me" bc I'm just as good. Come on ladies get a grip grab your word and look in the that mirror of God to find out your identity and you won't have a crises!! :-)
