Often times we as women go through identity crisis simply because we don't know who we are in Christ, now don't you think that it is quite fitting that crisis sounds like Christ but it really is the absence thereof! Knowing your identity or purpose is more important than you could ever imagine! You see when you don't know who you are or have the self worth that you need, then that often times this creates an invisible world in your mind, and the occupants that live there are jealousy, envy, fear, and last but not least inadequacy. We as women can't celebrate each other in our own uniqueness bc of the simple fact.. we just down right get JEALOUS! and this dose not happen right away its a suddel thing between us...it just happens overtime, and this aweful spirit is not just between friends it has no repector of persons or gender it even happens quietly between mothers and daughters as well as sisters. We can't get the help that we need from each other bc we are so busy looking at what this chic has on or what bag shes carring or what shoes shes wearing, we even go as far as to want to know how fine her man is if we hadn't already checked him out and wondered "why isn't he with me" bc I'm just as good. Come on ladies get a grip grab your word and look in the that mirror of God to find out your identity and you won't have a crises!! :-)
love ya...
ttyls :-)

Hello,
ReplyDeleteGreat comments of some of the most evident facts about our fellow sisters. I have often asked myself why do we hate on one another? After all, it profits you nothing. We as a member of the household of faith should spend time preciously loving on each other. Your bright maybe my dim and vice versa. We are to be helpers one to another but at the same time save yourself. We all have a certain amount of emotion that can sometimes be overshadowed by doubt, guilt, and jealousy; but lets not allow it to consume us. We need to be sure that we find the best "me" that can be! Self and soul searching requires time, commitment, honesty, truth and endurance. If you spend time doing that you will be able to hold fast to the perfection of your faith. Love is so powerful and fulfilling. "Great peace have they which love thy law and nothing shall offend them. (Psalms 119:165)" A scripture that you need to keep etched in the for front of your mind. And if God be for you WHO can be against you. Be blessed and stay refreshed in Christ Jesus.
Love ya, ttyl.
Amen...and I love that scripture! iam going to be sure and write it on the table of my heart! Great word Sis!! :-)
ReplyDeleteBoth of you ladies are dead on. Let me start off by saying I am glad I stopped by cause I have already learned a lot! I myself have dealt with jealousy and i hate it. I am a work in progress. I feel as if it takes away from you being truly happy for someone. Over the years I learned that what God has for you is for you and no one can take that away (no exclusions!) By me keeping that in my mind it has helped me overcome a lot in life. :-)
